The investigation in connection with Hingalganj Police Station Case No. 229 of 2023 dated 13.10.2023 under Sections 420/406/506 of the IPC is pending.

The case diary reflects that the police authorities intended to apprehend the present petitioner.

However, the petitioner has been granted anticipatory bail and thereafter he surrendered and was granted bail by the learned court below.

Learned Advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that it has surfaced that after accepting the money, he came to know that whole of the property was mortgaged with the Bank. The State is continuing with the investigation of the case. Having regard to the materials so collected and the prescribed punishment for which the offences have been investigated, I am not inclined to interfere with the order granting anticipatory bail and the subsequent bail so granted.

However, for the sake of investigation and further progress

the opposite party would meet with Investigating Officer of the case once in a fortnight till the charge-sheet is submitted before the jurisdictional court.

Report so submitted by the learned Advocate for the State be kept with the record.

With the aforesaid observation, CRM (SB) 19 of 2024 is disposed of.
