1. Instruction forwarded by the District Inspector of Schools (P.E.), North 24 Parganas signed on 10th May, 2024 filed in Court today is taken on record.

2. The petitioners seek pay protection.

3. A representation by the petitioners is pending consideration before the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

4. Without entering into the merits of the claim of the petitioners, the instant writ petition is disposed of by directing the Board to consider the petitioners' representation strictly in accordance with law at the earliest after giving reasonable opportunity of hearing to all the necessary parties.

5. A reasoned order shall be passed and communicated to the petitioners immediately thereafter.

6. Steps shall be taken in the matter at the earliest but positively within a period of twelve weeks from the date of communication of this order.

7. If the grievance of the petitioners is found to be proper, then necessary remedial steps shall be taken by the authority including disbursal of arrear dues.

8. Leave granted to the learned advocate on record of the petitioners to forward all documents in support if their claim to the aforesaid respondent at the time of communicating the order of the Court.

9. The writ petition stands disposed of.
