Muslehuddin ... for the respondent nos. 5 to 9 The petitioner alleges that in spite of cognizable offence being complained with the Inspector-in-charge of Uluberia Police Station, no steps have been taken by the concerned police station.

Learned advocate in response to the query raised by this Court submits that an information was furnished with the Inspector-in-charge of Uluberia Police Station by registered speed post.

State has submitted a report, which reflects that the information was

sent through the office of the Superintendent of Police, Howrah Rural District and it was registered as Uluberia P.S. GDE No. 294 dated 04.12.2024.

However, in spite of informing the informant repeatedly, he has not been visiting the police station for verification of the signature on the complaint. It has also been revealed in the complaint that the police authorities are ready to treat the complaint as FIR and they are awaiting only for the verification of the signature on the complaint.

Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the petitioner would visit the police station. As such, if the petitioner visits the police station, the police authorities as has been reflected in the report would proceed in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 2230 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.

Report so submitted be kept with the record. Let a copy of the report be handed over to the learned advocate for the petitioner.
