Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that similarly placed accused persons have been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1668 of 2025.

Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits Memo of Evidence. However, the same do not reflect that there are any previous antecedents of the present petitioner. Having considered that the petitioner is similarly placed as other accused persons who have been granted bail in CRM (NDPS) 1668 of 2025, I direct the learned Judge, Special Court under NDPS Act, Krishnagar, Nadia to release the petitioner viz., Newton Mandal @ Sentu @ Santu on bail on the same terms and conditions as was passed in CRM (NDPS) 1668 of 2025.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is allowed.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 203 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.

Memo of Evidence submitted by the learned advocate appearing for the State be kept with the record. All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
