Affidavit-of-service filed by the petitioner is taken on record.

By the present writ petition, the petitioner seeks direction upon the respondent authorities to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 29th November, 2024 (Annexure-P-4).

The petitioner contends that he participated in the NIT Memo No.73/DPS/2018 dated 8th February, 2018 for renovation of office Guest House, Dubrajpur Block, Ph-I. The work order was allocated to him and the petitioner has completed the work. However, there is an outstanding amount of Rs.4,99,000/- pertaining to the work executed by the petitioner. The petitioner made representation before the concerned authority, namely, the Executive Officer, Dubrajpur Panchayat Samity, respondent no.3 on 29th November, 2024.

However, no steps have been taken as yet. Hence, this writ petition.

Ms. Arpita Kundu, learned advocate for the petitioner submits that the direction be issued upon respondent no.3, Executive Officer, Dubrajpur Panchayat Samity to consider the representation of the petitioner.

Mr. Anirban Bose, learned Advocate for the State submits that, as per instructions, the petitioner has completed the work in terms of the work order issued to him. He also submits that matter may be relegated to the Executive Officer, Dubrajpur Panchayat Samity respondent no.3 to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner.

Admittedly, the petitioner has completed the work allotted to him as per the work order.

In view of submissions advanced on behalf of the petitioner, the respondent no.3, Executive Officer, Dubrajpur Panchayat Samity is directed to consider and dispose of the representation of the petitioner dated 29th November, 2024 upon notice and hearing the petitioner by way of a reasoned order in accordance with law within period of four weeks from date of communication of this order.

Learned Advocate for the petitioner is directed to communicate this order to respondent no.3, Executive Officer, Dubrajpur Panchayat Samity for necessary compliance.

With the above direction, the writ petition being WPA 2235 of 2025 stands disposed of.

All connected applications, if any, stand disposed of.

There will be, however, no order as to costs. Interim order, if any, stands vacated.

All concerned parties shall act in terms of the copy of the order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties subject to compliance with all requisite formalities.
