A report has been submitted by the State which reflects that on 12.02.2025 Canning PS Case No. 107 of 2025 was registered for investigation under the relevant provisions of the BNS as also the Arms Act.

The report also speaks that in course of the investigation two accused persons were arrested.

So far as the other issues are concerned, the police authorities are investigating the case.

Learned advocate for the private respondent nos. 6 to 8 submits that the petitioners, in order to, circumvent and/or deprive the private respondents from paying the lease rentals, have instituted the criminal case.

Be that as it may, since the criminal case has already been registered, further pendency of the writ petition is unwarranted. However, the petitioners would address their further grievances, if any, before the learned jurisdictional court in seisin of the case.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 3376 of 2025 is disposed of.

Pending application(s), if any, is also disposed of.
