In spite of leave having been obtained on March 12, 2020 by the Chairman, District Primary School Council, Birbhum to file affidavit within two weeks to explain why the order dated September 13, 2017, has not yet been complied with, no such affidavit has been filed.

I was inclined to pass very stringent orders against the said gentleman but I have been dissuaded from doing so by the eloquence of the learned advocate representing him. Learned advocate appearing for the Chairman of Birbhum District Primary School Council assures me that on the next date either affidavit of compliance shall be filed or an affidavit shall be filed explaining why the order in question has not been complied with.

The matter stands adjourned for a fortnight.
