The petitioners complain that the private respondents are encroaching upon their share of a jointly inherited property. The writ petition has been filed during the pandemic when Civil Courts were not functioning.

Counsel for the petitioners now clarifies that there are civil proceedings initiated in respect of the property.

The petitioners may seek appropriate interim relief in the pending civil suits.

The Matiya Police Station shall ensure that there is no breach of peace in the area and strictly comply with any order that may be passed by the Civil Court specifically on them. 6.

The instant writ petition is thus disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.
