Sri Pijush Roy and another The revisional application earlier appeared on 27th June, 2023 and was fixed today.

Today, when the matter has been called, none appears on behalf of the petitioner.

The present revisional application has been preferred challenging the order dated 28.12.2022 passed by the learned Judicial Magistrate, 4th Court, Barrackpore, North 24 Parganas in Misc. Case No.955 of 2019. The proceedings are under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure and the order of interim maintenance so awarded is Rs.2,500/- per month. Having regard to the present cost index and the quantum so awarded by way of interim maintenance, I am of the opinion that there is no scope to interfere with the amount of Rs.2,500/- per month as interim maintenance. As such, the revisional application being CRR 308 of 2023 is dismissed.

Pending application, if any, is consequently dismissed All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
