The petitioner says that a pole-mounted transformer has been installed near to his premises situated and lying at Khatian No.5638, Mouza - Balipur, J.L. No.113, Police Station - Khanakul, District - Hooghly without leaving necessary space in between exposing the petitioner to a risk in case of any malfunctioning of such transformer. The petitioner has made a complaint to the concerned Assistant Engineer and Station Manager of West Bengal State Electricity Distribution Company Limited (in short, "WBSEDCL"), but the same has remained unresolved since 5th November, 2019. The petitioner prays for the representation so made to be considered by an officer of WBSEDCL of the concerned region.

The respondents remain unrepresented and as such, their version is not available.

However, in view of the prayer made by the petitioner, I think the writ petition should not be kept pending any further.

The respondent no.3, being the Station Manager, Pursurah Customer Care Centre, WBSEDCL is directed to look into the representation made by the petitioner on 5th November, 2019 and dispose of the same after hearing the parties. The respondent no.3 should make an endeavour to dispose of the representation within a period of three months from the date of communication of this order.

The petitioner shall communicate a server copy of this order to the respondent no.3, who shall act on the basis of the same without insisting for a certified copy. Nothing further remains to be decided in this application. The writ petition is disposed of accordingly without any order as to costs.

Since I have not called for any affidavits, allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have not been admitted.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on usual undertakings.
