Ld. CJM, Howrah, has fixed the next date for hearing in respect of renewal of the passport on 4th of March, 2024. The ld. Magistrate would consider and dispose of the said application on 4.3.2024.

The renewal of the passport is not an indication to travel abroad and, as such, if the petitioner after receipt of the passport intends to travel abroad, the same would be only with the leave of the ld. CJM, Howrah or with the jurisdictional court in seisin of G.R. Case No. 425 of 2016. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 390 of 2024 is disposed of.
