For the Petitioner Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of the application for interim maintenance filed by her before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Court, Barasat, North 24 Parganas in Miscellaneous Case no. 357/24 , the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party. The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the application. The petitioner who is the mother of the opposite party filed an application under Section 125 of the Code of Criminal Procedure before the learned Magistrate seeking maintenance from her son. She also filed an application praying for interim maintenance which is yet to be considered.

This Court is informed that affidavit of assets and liabilities has been filed by the petitioner.

In view of the above, learned trial Court is directed to consider and dispose of the application seeking interim maintenance within two months from the date of communication of this order upon granting reasonable opportunity of hearing to both the parties and without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law.

The petitioner is directed to communicate this order to the learned Magistrate as well as the opposite party at the earliest. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties, upon compliance of requisite formalities. (Suvra Ghosh, J.)
