Koley ...for the WBSEDCL The present appeal has been preferred challenging an order dated 23rd August, 2018 by which the writ petition being WPA No. 12583 of 2018 was dismissed. Upon hearing the learned advocates appearing for the respective parties we were prima facie satisfied that an arguable case has been made out by the appellant and accordingly on 24th August, 2022, we directed the respondent no.3 to conduct a fresh inspection and to identify an alternative route through which electricity connection can be granted at the appellant's plot of land.

Today, we have been informed by Mr. Koley, learned advocate appearing for WBSEDCL that such earlier direction of this Court has already been complied with and through an alternative route, electricity

connection has already been effected in favour of the appellant. Such fact has not been disputed by Mr. Kundu, learned advocate appearing for the appellant. It thus appears that the grievances of the appellant had already been redressed.

In view thereof, the present appeal and the connected application are allowed setting aside the order dated 7th April, 2015 read with the order dated 11th September, 2017 passed by the respondent no.1 as well as the order impugned in the present appeal. The appeal and the connected application are, accordingly, disposed of.

All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
