Mr. Sudip Ghosh Chowdhury, Mr. Argha Das, Mr. Abhishek Bose ....for the petitioner Mr. Susanta Pal, Ms. Ananya Neogi ...for the State The writ petitioner was functioning as an Anganwari Karmee under the Pandua Block since 1984. She was posted at AWC No. 81. She was subsequently transferred to AWC No. 84 for administrative exigency. The petitioner through her Advocate has, on December 2, 2020, represented to the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO), Pandua for transfer back to at Anganwari Centre 81.

The grounds stated by the petitioner that she is a political person and that she has to travel by rickshaw to reach AWC No. 84.

This Court sees absolutely no reason for interference with the order of transfer since the transfer is admittedly an incident of service and the petitioner cannot claim posting choice. The

transfer has been made within the terms and conditions of her service.

For the reasons stated hereinabove, the writ petition must fail and is hereby dismissed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
