Mr. Apalak Basu Ms. Sanghamitra Mridha ...for the petitioner. Since the petitioner seeks expeditious disposal of M360 of 2012 pending before the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate I, Baruipur, South 24 Parganas, the matter may be taken up for consideration without service of notice upon the opposite party.

The opposite party shall not be prejudiced by an order directing expeditious disposal of the case. By an order passed on 1st April, 2015 in CRR 727 of 2015 a co ordinate Bench of this Court directed the learned trial Court to dispose of the case as early as possible, preferably within four months from the date of communication of this order.

It is most shocking to note that despite passage of considerable period of time, the order of this Court has not been complied with by the learned trial Court. This Court takes serious note of the said violation.

The learned trial Court is directed to take the proceeding to its logical conclusion within three months

from the next date of hearing fixed before him positively, without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties, in accordance with law. This order is peremptory and mandatory.

The revisional application being CRR 443 of 2025 is disposed of.

Urgent certified website copy of the order, if applied for, be given to the parties on compliance of requisite formalities.
