Learned advocate appearing for the petitioners submits that all the petitioners were implicated because of seizure of 1000 bottles of phensedyl from joint possession of the petitioners; petitioners are in custody for about 15 months and according to the learned advocate for the petitioners, no witness has been examined till date. Learned advocate appearing for the State, on the other hand, opposes the prayer for bail and submits that four witnesses have already been examined and the prosecution intends to examine 16 witnesses.

Learned Trial Court would expedite the process of trial. If there is no sufficient progress of the trial in the next three months, petitioners would be at liberty to renew their prayer for bail.

At this stage, the prayer for bail of the petitioners is rejected.

The application for bail, being CRM (NDPS) 206 of 2026, is, thus, disposed of.

All concerned parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
