F.No.91/NCTE.ERC/RTI/2021/63436 dated 6th January, 2021 submits that the National Council for Teacher Education is lingering a process and is not concluding a matter to its finality and prays for a direction upon National Council for Teacher Education to hear the matter, after giving an opportunity of hearing not only to the petitioner but also to the private respondents and conclude the process within a period of four weeks from

today.

Mr. Choudhuty, learned Counsel appearing for University, Mr. Nandy, learned Counsel appearing for NCTE, Mr. Karim, learned Counsel appearing for Private respondents and Mr. Biswas, learned Counsel appearing for the West Bengal Board of Primary Education are present.

Heard all the parties.

The Regional Director, Eastern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education being the respondent no.4 in the instant writ petition is requested to consider the prayer of the petitioner as referred in memo no.

F.No.91/NCTE.ERC/RTI/2021/63436 dated 6th January, 2021. The writ petitioner is directed to serve a copy of this order along with a copy of the writ petition to the Regional Director, Eastern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education. The Regional Director, Eastern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education is requested to give an opportunity of hearing not only to the petitioner but also to all the private respondents, if necessary, and to pass a reasoned order within eight weeks from today. The Regional Director, Eastern Regional Committee, National Council for Teacher Education is also requested to communicate the reasoned order to the petitioner at an earliest.

The writ petition being WPA 2565 of 2021 is accordingly disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Since no affidavit have been invited, the allegations made in the writ petition are deemed to have been denied.
