The present application under Section 439 of the Code of Criminal Procedure has been preferred by the petitioner in connection with Kumarganj Police Station Case No.

of dated 22-09-2020 under Sections 21(C)/22(C)/23(C)/27A of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act.

The commercial quantity of contraband( phensedyl ) has been recovered from the possession of the petitioner and the other accused.

In view of the restriction now imposed under Section 37 of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, the prayer for bail of the present petitioner is rejected.
