The petitioner filed an application for change of his date of birth which is still pending before the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

Learned Advocate for the board has submitted that the application is still pending before the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education.

I direct the West Bengal Board of Secondary Education, after considering the materials on record and submissions made, the matter is to be decided within a period of six months from the date of communication of this order, and if the Board thinks, if necessary they may give an opportunity of hearing to the petitioner.

With the above direction and observation, the writ application is disposed of.
