This is an application challenging issuance of warrant of arrest against the present petitioners.

Let a copy of this application be served upon Mr. Mr. Arijit Ganguly and Mr. Mirza Firoj Ahmed Begg, learned Counsels who ordinarily appear on behalf of the State. Let them represent the State. Their engagement may be regularised by the competent authority of the State in due course.

Learned counsel for the petitioners submits as follows. The petitioners are the accused in this case. They have regularly attended the learned Trial Court after obtaining bail. On one occasion i.e. on 30.12.2021, the petitioners could not take steps before the learned Trial Court and a warrant of arrest was issued. They want to join the proceeding at the earliest.

Learned counsel for the State submits that the petitioners may be directed to surrender before the learned Trial Court at the earliest. I have heard the learned Counsels appearing on behalf of the petitioners and the State and have perused the revision petition. It appears that for the absence in Court on a particular day, a warrant of arrest was issued against the petitioners. The petitioners want to join the proceeding at the earliest.

In view of the above, the warrant of arrest issued against the petitioners shall remain stayed for a period of four weeks from this date. The petitioners shall surrender before the Trial Court within a period of four weeks. In the event the petitioners surrender before the learned Trial Court and pray for bail, their applications shall be considered in accordance with law.

With the above observations, the revisional application is disposed of.
