1. This revisional application has been filed under Section 528 of the B.N.S.S., 2023 read with Section 529 of the B.N.S.S., 2023 for expeditious hearing and proper disposal of the case in connection with C-Case No.625 of 2022 under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instrument Act, 1881 pending before the learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court at Barrackpore against an order passed, rejecting the prayer of the accused person, for nonmaintainability of the case.

2. It is also submitted that the criminal revisional application was filed being Criminal Revision No.35 of 2024 before the Court of learned Additional Sessions Judge, Fast Track Court - 3, Barrackpore, 24 Parganas (North) and the learned Court after contested hearing dismissed such criminal revision affirming the order passed by the concerned Court of learned Judicial Magistrate, 5th Court, Barrackpore on 7th January, 2025. But, since thereafter, till date, no further proceeding has been taken up by the learned Court on various grounds.

3. Learned advocate on behalf of the petitioner has annexed relevant order-sheets of the case record and the order dated 12th November, 2024 which reveals that the next date fixed on 10th February, 2025 for recording and also reveals that the original record has been received by the Court.

4. It is, however, not revealed before this Court that since 10th February, 2025, till date, whether there is any development in the proceedings or not otherwise it can be seen that the matter requires to be heard as expeditiously as possible, considering the nature of the complaint.

5. In view of the above facts and circumstances, the learned Court is directed to make all endeavour to dispose of the proceedings as expeditiously as possible without granting any unnecessary adjournment to either of the parties.

6. Accordingly, criminal revisional application being, C.R.R. 452 of 2025 stands disposed of.

7. Let a copy of this order be sent to the learned trial court for necessary information and compliance.

8. All parties shall act on the server copies of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

9. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties expeditiously upon compliance of all legal formalities.
