1. The writ application has been preferred praying for direction upon the respondent no. 4 being the Sub-Divisional Controller of Food & Supplies, Burdwan to make allotment of rice and atta to the petitioner strictly in accordance actual requirement of the consumers as per scale fixed by the State.

2. It is submitted that being aggrieved the petitioner has preferred a representation before the authorities to consider this grievance .

3. It is further submitted that till date his representation dated 16.10.2023 is pending consideration for which he is suffering prejudice.

4. A supplementary affidavit has been placed. The same be kept with the record. Copy served.

5. By way of the supplementary the petitioner has brought on record some subsequent developments and as such the same be also treated as part of the representation.

Considering the said facts and the nature of relief prayed for, the writ application is disposed of the direction that the respondent nos. 2 and 4 shall consider and dispose of the said representation dated 16.10.2023 within 60 days from the date of communication of this order, on hearing the parties in accordance with law, by passing a reasoned order.
