23.02.2023 ssi WPA 2155 of 2023 Ct 39 Mr. Debabrata Saha Roy Mr. Neil Basu Mr. Sankha Biswas ...for the petitioner Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee Ms. Debapriya Chatterjee ...for the State Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the State files a copy of a letter dated 22.02.2023 written by the Sub Divisional Controller, Food and Supplies, Jangipur, Murshidabad to the petitioner indicating that the order of suspension of the petitioner and the order of tagging of ration cards to the nearby dealer have been withdrawn and cancelled.

A copy of the letter is handed over to the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The letter records as follows:

"So, to reiterate the Memos being No. 58/SCJ/23 and 60/SCJ/MR/23 both dated 24/01/2023 and 69/SCJ/MR/23 dated 31/01/2023 are hereby withdrawn and stand cancelled with no effect as of further in any manner whatsoever."

Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as the grievance of the petitioner has already been addressed, the petitioner would not like to press this application.

On the prayer of the learned counsel for the petitioner, the writ petition is accordingly disposed of as not pressed. Urgent photostat certified copies of this order may be delivered to the learned Advocates for the parties, if applied for, upon compliance of all formalities .
