It is submitted by the learned counsel for the petitioners that upon perusal of the status report submitted on behalf of the State respondents, the petitioners have learnt that their land was not acquired at all. Such fact, according to the petitioners, has given rise to a fresh cause of action.

In view of the above, the petitioners do not intend to proceed with this matter any further.

In view of the above, the writ petition being WPA 2030 of 2022 is dismissed for non-prosecution. Accordingly, the application being CAN 1 of 2023 is disposed of.

However, there shall be no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance with all requisite formalities.
