Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits as follows. The petitioner is a Bangladeshi national. He has come to know that his relative, the respondent no.6 who is also a Bangladeshi national and some others had been procuring false documents of identity in India by forgery. A complaint was made to the police authorities, but no FIR was registered.

Learned Senior Standing Counsel representing the State relies on the report and submits that on the complaint of the petitioner, a specific FIR has already been registered being Balurghat PS Case No.66/24 dated 29.01.2024 under Sections 419, 467, 468, 471 and 34 of the IPC read with

Sections 14A and 14C of the Foreigner's Act. Necessary steps have been taken for investigating the alleged offences. As the prime grievance of the petitioner of nonregistration of an FIR on his complaint has already been redressed, no further order need be passed in this regard. Let the investigation be concluded expeditiously and in accordance with law.

With these observations, WPA 2133 of 2024 is disposed of.
