Petitioner claims that he has sold out a vehicle which was involved in cow trafficking and he has entered agreement with the person who had been using the said vehicle.

It is further contended that there were three vehicles which were sold out, out of which two vehicles were registered in the name of one Buddhadeb Maiti, however, the other vehicle was purposely not registered by the said Buddhadeb Maiti in his own name.

Petitioner claims that there are documentary evidence in support of such contention. The vehicle which was not registered and continued to be

registered in his name has been found to be involved in cow trafficking and accordingly the police authorities are repeatedly serving notice upon him to appear.

Petitioner claims his innocence and submits that unnecessarily he has been implicated in the case by the police authorities in spite of his innocence and rendering all cooperation to the police authorities. Petitioner states that he is suffering from serious ailments.

In view of the plea taken up by the petitioner in the writ petition are disputed question of facts, the same cannot be gone into at the stage of investigation by a court of law, as the veracity of which are to be tested on the touchstone of unearthing materials by the investigating agency.

In view of the aforesaid, I do not find any reason to interfere with the prayers advanced in the writ petition.

Accordingly WPA 2294 of 2025 is dismissed.
