Report reflects that on 16.04.2024 PW 4 Sanjay Kumar Mukherjee appeared before the learned trial court and he has been cross-examined in full and discharged.

Having considered the steps taken by the learned trial court and the Officer-in-Charge of Cossipore Police Station and the Inspector-in-Charge, Kaliachak Police Station, I am of the view that the trial presently has been streamlined. Learned trial court is directed to strictly follow the order dated 22.03.2024 to take the trial to its logical conclusion within a reasonable period of time. With the aforesaid observations, CRR 396 of 2024 is disposed of.

Pending connected application, if any, is consequently

disposed of.
