Petitioner is the father of the principal accused. He submits he is in no way connected with the rape and murder. He renews his prayer for bail.

Learned Advocate for the State opposes the bail prayer. He submits petitioner and his son murdered the victim. We have considered the materials on record. There are materials implicating the petitioner in the crime. A minor girl was raped and murdered.

In view of the gravity of the offence and the prima facie involvement of the petitioner therein, we are not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected.
