On behalf of CESC Ltd., it is submitted that during the pendency of the writ petition, a fresh electricity connection has been provided to the petitioner on 26th February, 2026 through Meter No. 8040591.

In view of the above, nothing survives in the present writ petition.

WPA 2143 of 2024 stands dismissed.
