Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that, without any intimation to the petitioner, the Distribution Licensee has disconnected the electric supply to the petitioner's meter.

Learned counsel appearing for the private respondent submits that the petitioner had unlawfully shifted the LTOH cable, for which the same was shifted back to its original route.

Learned counsel for the Distribution Licensee further submits that the petitioner obstructed the Distribution Licensee personnel when they went to restore the connection to the original position of the cables to the petitioner's meter, to which the petitioner

was not agreeable, for which the connection could not be given.

Learned counsel for the petitioner controverts the submissions of the WBSEDCL and contends that the petitioner is keen to get reconnection of the electric supply, since the petitioner's mother is ailing and is residing with the petitioner at the said premises. In such view of the matter, WPA 2049 of 2022 is disposed of by directing the WBSEDCL to restore the electric supply to the petitioner's premises, at the original position of the cables and the electric meter, by midnight of February 12, 2022, that is, tomorrow.

There will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
