The Superintendent of Howrah General Hospital shall furnish the injury report of the petitioner, Anindita Dey, of the incident on 27.11.2022 to the police within 48 hours of receipt of a copy of this order. The I. O. shall complete investigation and submit a report in final form to the Jurisdictional Magistrate within ten days thereafter.

It is submitted that the departmental proceedings are pending against the said Subhas Chandra Mondal and the office of the Special Task Force of the Kolkata Police.

The Commissioner of Police shall ensure that the proceedings are taken to their logical conclusion as expeditiously as possible.

Let a copy of this order be sent to the office of the Commissioner of Police, Kolkata for necessary action.

All pictures of the petitioner in any medium or form in the custody of the said Subhas Chandra

Mondal shall be seized by the I. O. The I. O. shall ensure that the said Subhas Chandra Mondal does not in any way disclose or circulate the pictures to any person.

The instructions of the O. C., Nager Bazar Police Station dated 02.02.2023 addressed to State advocate is taken on record.

In view of the above, the instant writ petition is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.
