Challenge in the present petition has been made to the order dated January 12, 2021 passed by the learned Single Judge whereby direction had been issued for release of domestic electric connection in favour of the respondent No.1.

Learned counsel for the parties are agreed that the legal issues raised in the present appeal are covered by a separate order passed today by this Court in MAT 73 of 2021 (CESC Limited & Anr. Vs. Asifa Bibi).

In view of the aforesaid stand taken by the learned counsels for the parties, the present appeal along with connected application are disposed of in terms of detailed reasons recorded in Asifa Bibi's case (supra). Order passed by the learned Single Judge is set aside with liberty to the respondent No.1 to avail of his remedy in terms of order passed in Asifa Bibi's case (supra). (Rajesh Bindal, J.)
