In this Public Interest Petition, the petitioner mother has approached this Court raising certain grievances against her son being private respondent no. 10. Grievance of petitioner is that though the petitioner is owner of the property in question but the private respondent is solely trying to occupy the petitioner's property and in this regard the private respondent has pressurized the petitioner and her husband.

There is a further allegation that the private respondent got changed the name of the electricity meter in Calcutta Electric Supply Corporation and that in spite of police report no action is taken.

We are of the view that the grievance which is raised in the petition does not fall in the category of public interest as it is a private dispute between mother and son.

At this stage, learned counsel for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this Public Interest Petition with liberty to approach the appropriate forum on the self same cause of action.

Prayer is allowed.

The petition is dismissed as withdrawn with the liberty as prayed.
