It is submitted by the petitioners that their grievances have been met, in view of the fact that the Election Commission has withdrawn the order passed under Section 34 of the West Bengal Municipal Election Act, 1994, disqualifying the petitioners for three years. Subsequent notification is kept on record.

In view of such submission made by Mr. Kar, learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioners, the writ petition is disposed of as not pressed.

There shall be no order as to costs.
