2. The application filed by the petitioner for issuance of a passport could not be proceeded with as there was a mismatch in the address mentioned by the petitioner.

3. The petitioner was requested to visit the office of the Regional Passport Officer with requisite documents in February, 2024.

4. Learned advocate for the petitioner submits that, his client mate the concerned officer within the time limit as stipulated in the communication bearing File No. 17(224)24/PSK/RPO/KOL dated 19th February, 2024.

5. The Regional Passport Officer is directed to take necessary consequential steps in the matter.

6. The writ petition stands disposed of.

7. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties, upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
