As per the notification for recruitment, the maximum age for participation in respect of general category candidate is forty years. The petitioner has crossed the said age limit.

According to the petitioner as he qualified TET examination in the year 2014 accordingly he ought to be permitted to participate in the recruitment process by condoning his age bar.

No provision of law has been shown before this Court which permits condonation of age bar in respect of the candidates who qualified in the TET-2014 examination.

The petitioner being over-aged cannot be permitted to participate in the recruitment process initiated by the Board in the year 2020.

Accordingly no relief can be granted to the petitioner in the instant case.

The writ petition fails and is hereby dismissed. Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties on completion of usual formalities.
