The petitioner is aggrieved by investigation into FIR being Joypur Police Station Case No.12/23 dated 10th January, 2023 under Sections 341, 325, 326, 379 and 427 of the IPC. The petitioner's husband was severely assaulted by the private respondent and he sustained serious injuries on his hands and legs. Joypur Police has completed investigation and filed charge sheet. The private respondent has been taken into custody on 11th March, 2023 and charge sheet has been filed on 18th March, 2023 before the magistrate and is most likely pending consideration. The magistrate shall consider as to whether Section 307 of the IPC ought to be added in the charge sheet when the case is taken up before him on the next date.

With the aforesaid directions, the writ petition shall stand disposed of.

There shall be no order as to costs.

The report of the Officer-in-Charge, Joypur Police Station dated 10th February, 2023 is taken on record. All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.
