The grievance of the petitioner is directed against the refusal of the CESC to supply a final electric connection in favour of the petitioner.

The learned advocate for the CESC Ltd. submits that this is the second application made on behalf of the petitioner and there is suppression by the petitioner. In view of the disputed questions raised in this petition, I am of the view that the matter be referred to the Ombudsman under Regulation 14 of the West Bengal Electricity Redressal Commission. If such representation is made to the Ombudsman under Regulation 14 of the West Bengal Electricity Redressal Commission, the Ombudsman will dispose of the same within a period of

three weeks from date and after giving a right of hearing to the petitioner and all the affected parties. With the aforesaid directions WPA 2647 of 2021 is disposed of.

However, there will be no order as to costs.

Urgent photostat certified copy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
