No. 29 KAUSHIK REJECTED C.R.M.(A) 449 of 2023 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 438 of the Code of Criminal Procedure in connection with Kaliachak Police Station Case No. 883 of 2014 dated 29.12.2014 under Sections 363/365 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 and adding Section 376(2)(i)(n) of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 read with Sections 4/8/12 of the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences Act.

Considering the long absconsion of the petitioner and considering the gravity of the offence, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected and the application being CRM (A) 449 of 2023 is dismissed.
