Petitioner is aggrieved by the fact that the representations dated 07.01.2023 and 11.01.2023 addressed to the Officer-in-charge, Dadpur Police Station, Hooghly were not addressed properly and as such the petitioner had to face the inconvenience as no construction could be raised in his own land. As none appears on behalf of the State Mr.

Gourav Das, learned advocate who ordinarily appears on behalf of the State is directed to represent the State. His appearance may be regularized by the concerned authorities.

Having considered the nature of the dispute so far as the issues relating to construction are concerned, if the petitioner faces inconvenience he would be at liberty to approach the civil court. If any

direction is passed by the civil court upon the police authorities, police authorities at that stage would respect, obey and implement the order. In the meantime, if the petitioner is faced with fresh inconveniences so far as breach of the peace and tranquility is concerned, fresh representation be filed by the petitioner which the police authorities would consider in accordance with law.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2221 of 2023 is disposed of.
