Mr. Bidyut Kumar Roy, Ms. Sima Biswas. .. for the State. This revisional application was filed with a prayer for quashing the proceeding in connection with G.R. Case No. 2520 of 2016 corresponding to Serampore Women Police Station Case No. 49 of 2016 dated 08.11.2016 under Section 498A/406/420/120B of the Indian Penal Code.

It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that the GR Case mentioned above has already been disposed of with the judgment and order of acquittal in respect of petitioner, Krishnakant Tiwari.

Mr. Bidyut Kumar Roy usually appearing on behalf of the State is requested to represent the State. His appointment be regularized.

In the aforesaid view of the matter, the prayer for quashing of proceedings has become infructuous.

Thus the revisional application stands dismissed being infructuous.
