This is a contempt application under the Contempt of Court's Act, 1971 filed by the petitioners on 28th January 2000.

By filing the instant application, the petitioners sought for punishment of the contemnors / respondents for allegedly violating the order dated 7th July 1999 passed by a learned Single Bench in W.P. 21989 (W) of 1998. I find since the filing of the application, none moved for the petitioners.

I feel that the petitioners are no more interested to proceed with the contempt application on hand. In view of the above, the contempt application is dismissed for non-appearance of the petitioners. Let this contempt application along with the order passed today be tagged with the main file by the concerned department.
