(VIA VIDEO CONFERENCE) Mr. Debasish Saha Mr. Moniruzzaman Mr. Dipika Banu ...for the petitioner Mr. T.M.Siddique Mr. Nilotpal Chatterjee ...for the State The grievance of the petitioner is that he applied for short-term mining lease for excavating sand before the respondent authorities on December 22, 2019 in the prescribed form but such application has not been disposed of by the respondent authorities till date. Mr. T.M.Siddique, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State-respondents submits that the application filed by the petitioner was considered and rejected by the respondent authorities vide an order dated March 13, 2020 and the same was communicated to the petitioner.

Learned Advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner submits, on instruction, that no such communication has been received by the petitioner till date.

As the application filed by the petitioner has been disposed of by the respondent authorities the present writ

petition has become infructuous and is disposed of accordingly.

However, the respondent authorities are requested to communicate the order dated March 13, 2020 to the petitioner at the earliest.

WPA No. 1503 of 2020 stands disposed of.

There shall be, however, no order as to costs. Urgent certified website copy of this order, if applied for, be furnished to the parties on usual undertakings. (Suvra Ghosh,J)
