Petitioner has approached this court being aggrieved by the inaction of the police authorities. Petitioner complains that the private respondents are creating undue pressure and are threatening him with the aid of certain anti-social elements to kill him. To that effect petitioner has also approached the learned CJM, Purba Bardhaman being Case No. 65 of 2024.

Since the petitioner has already invoked the provisions of section 156(3) of the Code of Criminal Procedure on or about 20.01.2024, I am of the view that in case no specific directions have been passed by the learned Magistrate, petitioner would be at liberty to approach the revisional jurisdiction.

In the meantime, state would see that no untoward incident crops up because of the inimical relationship between the petitioner and the private respondent.

With the aforesaid observations WPA 2222 of 2024 is disposed of.
