Ms. Sujata Das.

...For the Petitioner Mr. R.R. Chowdhury, Mr. Rudradipta Nandy.

...For the State.

Apprehending arrest in connection with Chanchal Police Station Case No.

of under Sections 448/323/325/307/326/34 of the Indian Penal Code, the petitioner has filed the instant application for anticipatory bail. The petitioner seeks parity with the two other co-accused, who have already been enlarged on bail by the learned Sessions Judge. After perusing the complaint, which led to the registration of First Information Report by the victim himself and the injury report, we do not think that the custodial interrogation of the petitioner is necessary.

The prayer for anticipatory bail is thus allowed. Accordingly, in the event of arrest, the petitioner shall be released on bail upon furnishing a bond of Rs.10,000/-, with two sureties of like amount each, one of whom must be local, to the satisfaction of the arresting officer of the concerned police station and on conditions as laid down under Section 438(2) of the Code of

Criminal Procedure.

The application for anticipatory bail, being CRM 1028 of 2021 is thus disposed of.
