An affidavit-of-compliance has been filed in Court by the Contemnor No.2, the Executive Officer, Arambagh Municipality.

It mentions that on spot inspection it was revealed that construction has been made in violation of the building rules and devoid any sanctioned plan. The construction is unauthorized.

The Executive Officer has placed the report before the Board of Councillors for passing necessary order. In view of the same, the Executive Officer is directed to ensure that necessary order is passed by the Board of Councillors on consideration of the report placed by him.

The Municipality shall ensure that the order of the Court dated 9th April, 2021 is complied with at the earliest.

The contempt application stands disposed of.

Urgent certified photocopy of this order, if applied for, be supplied to the parties expeditiously on compliance of usual legal formalities.
