Petitioners are aggrieved by the fact that in spite of civil court having passed necessary judgment and decree, the private respondent no.7 and his associates are continuing to disturb and interfering with the peaceful enjoyment of their property. Mr. Banerjee, learned advocate appearing on behalf of the State has submitted a report. The report reflects that the disputes are civil in nature. However, I find from the records that the petitioners have already approached the learned Executive Magistrate. Petitioners are under an impression that in spite of civil court's order, they are not being protected and are subjected to harassment at the behest of the private respondent no.7 and his associates.

Having considered the same, the police authorities are directed to oversee as to whether any interference is there with the life and liberty of the petitioners at the behest of the private respondent no.7. In case they find that there has been any interference, they would keep a strict vigil and ensure that there is no breach of the peace and/or tranquility and/or any untoward incident resulting from inimical relationship existing between the parties.

With the aforesaid observations, WPA 2389 of 2025 is disposed of.

There will be no order as to costs.

Report submitted by the State be kept with the record.

All parties shall act on the server copy of this order duly downloaded from the official website of this Court.

Urgent photostat certified copies of this order, if applied for, be given to the parties upon compliance of all requisite formalities.
