Advocate Mr. Dipankar Pramanick ....for the State Petition for anticipatory bail was filed on January 30, 2024.

Petition was taken up for consideration on February 6, 2024 when, on the prayer made on behalf of the petitioners, time was granted.

Today, some of the petitioners seek to appear through a different advocate. That possibly is not practice of this Court. Possibly, that is also not permissible. Be that as it may, police

case is of 2015 with a charge-sheet therein being filed in 2021. Petitioners admittedly knew of the filing of the charge-sheet. In view of the long absconsion of the petitioners, and the materials in the Case Diary implicating all petitioners in an incident of fraud on a financial institution, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners.

This application for anticipatory bail is, thus, rejected. CRM(A) 359 of 2024 is disposed of.
