Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that the petitioner received injuries also.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that two persons were injured with one of them suffering grievous hurt. He refers to the statement of one of the injured person.

Apparently an incident of assault took place. The petitioner was involved in the assault. Two persons were assaulted who suffered injuries. One of the injured states that her husband lost consciousness on the assault. She went to save her husband whereupon, she was also assaulted and she lost teeth.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner in the incident, we are unable to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

Prayer for anticipatory bail of the petitioner is rejected. CRM (A) 462 of 2023 is dismissed.
