Petitioner seeks bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the petitioner submits that some of the other co-accused were granted bail. The petitioner stands in the same footing as that of the other co-accused who were granted bail. According to him, the principal assailant was granted bail.

Learned advocate appearing for the State draws the attention of the Court to the materials in the case diary. He submits that there are Close Circuit Television Footage implicating the petitioner as the one of the main assailants.

Considering the gravity of the offence and the involvement of the petitioner therein, we are unable to grant bail to the petitioner. Accordingly, the prayer for bail of the petitioner is rejected. C.R.M. (DB) 392 of 2022 is dismissed.
